We highly recomend the use of metal light clips over the plastic clips supplied with most starter units; the UVB output of modern reptile tubes can degrade the plastic clips over time causing them to become brittle, also when used with reflectors plastic clips can melt causing the tube to drop into the aquarium / terrarium.
